One year on from the U.S. elections, the transatlantic relationship is facing a new reality: harder politics, sharper competition, and rising expectations on both sides of the Atlantic. How are Washington and Brussels recalibrating their priorities? What does this mean for trade, tech, security, and the global rules-based order?

Join us from 17.00 on 4 November as Rud Pedersen brings together leading journalists and policy thinkers for a forward-looking discussion on the next phase of EU–U.S. engagement. Building on the success of last year’s pre-election event, this conversation will examine what comes after the turn — when campaign promises give way to governing choices, and the pressure to deliver becomes real.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Kait Bolongaro, Managing Editor Europe, MLex

  • Andy Bounds, EU Correspondent, Financial Times

  • Hosuk Lee-Makiyama, Director, ECIPE

  • Suzanne Lynch, Bureau Chief, Bloomberg

Moderator:

  • Gregg Svingen, Senior Advisor, Rud Pedersen
